{"id":193,"date":"2006-06-28T20:26:03","date_gmt":"2006-06-29T04:26:03","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2016-05-25T23:34:33","modified_gmt":"2016-05-26T06:34:33","slug":"the-male-butt-crack-flickr-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mikeindustries.com\/blog\/archive\/2006\/06\/the-male-butt-crack-flickr-group","title":{"rendered":"On Joining The Male Butt-Crack Flickr Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/blog\/images\/inline\/buttcrack.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"175\" alt=\"\" class=\"rightinlineborder\" \/>I don&#8217;t use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\" target=\"_blank\">Flickr<\/a> a lot and every single message I&#8217;ve ever received through it has been something along the lines of:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Person-You-Sort-Of-Know has added you as a contact!&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This morning, however, I received this message from susan1975 inquiring about a photo I (or <a href=\"http:\/\/9rules.com\" target=\"_blank\">Scrivs<\/a>) took of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.valleywag.com\" target=\"_blank\">Valleywag Chief Snarkology Officer Nick Douglas<\/a> at SXSW:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Hi there.  Could you please add your photo called &#8220;CIMG0170.jpg&#8221; to my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/groups\/male_butt_crack\/\" target=\"_blank\">Male Butt-Crack Group<\/a>? Thanks, Susan.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Man, I totally would, but that would require me to actually <em>join<\/em> the Male Butt-Crack Group.<\/p>\n<p>This is clearly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zeldman.com\/2006\/06\/27\/flickd-away\/\" target=\"_blank\">another<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/meyerweb.com\/eric\/thoughts\/2006\/06\/28\/forgetful-flickr\/\" target=\"_blank\">situation<\/a> that Flickr is ill-equipped to handle.  I would like to add my photo but am unwilling to join said butt-crack enthusiast group.
