(Editor’s Note: Oops, try it now. I forgot to save the .fla back to MX format. It was MX 2004 format before.)

Opera (7.54 win xp) still shows transparent background as green :(

Cursors:
When the replaced text is a link: IE uses default windows white hand cursor (interesting – my custom is black), Opera takes small Flash-native hand, Firefox 0.8 shows only an arrow pointer.

You mentioned almost perfect printability in most browsers. I’ve printed your test page in Netscape 7.1, Firefox 0.9.3, Opera 7.5, and IE6 (all on Win XP), and they all printed as the print stylesheet said. What problems did you experience printing, and on what browsers/platforms? Is there a way to print the flash rendering instead of the browser headline?

Also, with the styles disabled, there are now 2 versions of the headline, the regular headline in browser text rendered next to the flash rendering. Is there a way to hide one of the renderings when styles are off?
